Budgeting At the start of each project, a budget will be submitted for your approval. The invoice you receive at the end will match the estimate. Everyone hates unpleasant surprises. One of the biggest sources of friction in a business relationship is a project over budget. As a personal rule, as long as a project's description does not change, we stick faithfully to the estimate. If we underestimate the time involved, it's our problem, not yours. We make these assurances because we believe the focus must be on the creative product - the dollars will take care of themselves.

Billing and Payment Payments are net 30, and billing is based on time and materials to date on a monthly basis. First time clients are asked to make a payment of 50% of the estimated fees in advance. All out-of-pocket expenses are subject to a 15% mark-up. Large out-of-pocket costs, on mutual agreement, may be billed directly to the client.

In general, for questions of copyright or arbitration, we rely on the guidelines published by the Graphic Artists' Guild.
