"Gourmet cider? But of course!
The afficionados seek out the stuff
that comes from "farmhouse cideries"
like White Oak cidery..."

-- FORBES Magazine, April 22, 1996

White Oak Cider is unlike any cider available in the U.S. today. In the tradition of the farmhouse ciders of Southwest England, White Oak Cider is made from vintage cider apple varieties, prized for generations by the cidermakers of Somerset, Devon & Herefordshire. Varieties such as Yarlington Mill, Porter's Perfection, Sweet Coppin & Kingston Black, along with almost 20 others, are grown without chemical pesticides in our orchard to produce a cider with a distinctive full-bodied character.

True to tradition, White Oak Cider is unfiltered and unpasteurized, fermented and aged in oak barrels for over 6 months, and is made from freshly pressed juice; no concentrate, water or sugar is added.

In 1989 we began planting our orchard. It's now one of the largest collections of rare apple varieties in the U.S. Our vision was to bring a bit of the English West Country to the Pacific Northwest. That continues to be our goal today.

Cheers!
